Snow Emergency

When it snows 2 or more inches the city of Mendota will declare a snow emergency.  There is no parking on the streets and cars will be towed at owners expense.

Notice is hereby given, the Mendota Planning Commission will be conducting a work
session meeting on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. via remote conferencing. The
purpose of the meeting will be to establish rules, procedures and guidelines for the
newly established Commission. No petitions, applications or other public requests will
be addressed at the meeting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that A Public Hearing will be held March 25, 2021, Located at the Mendota VFW Post 6690, 1323 Sibley Memorial Highway at 7:00 p.m. Public input regarding the consideration of an interim ordinance to consider the regulation, restrictions, or prohibition of any use, development, or subdivision within the 2040 Mixed Use Land Use Designation as shown in the 2040 comp plan for a period not to exceed one year from the date it is effective. Such moratorium may be necessary in consideration of the adoption and amendment of official controls as defined in section Minn. Stat. § 462.342, subd. 15, specifically related to updating the City’s zoning code. If you have any questions regarding this public hearing, please direct them to the City Clerk at 651-322-0827.
